A
Beacon, Enlightening Minds
Maryam
Noor Tameer-e-Millat Foundation School is envisaged
to commence from November 15, 2007. It is located
in a small settlement in Chawinda, District Sialkot.
The building, which sprawls over a land of four
canals in the rural settlement of “Dhup Sattri”,
is all set to be brought to immediate use. It has
been bestowed by Navy Chief of Staff Admiral (Rtd)
Iftikhar Ahmed Sarohi.
The
classes that will be held initially are Nursery,
Prep and One. The enrolled students would thus expand
the classes further as they step up.
Maryam
Noor TMF School is another milestone of Tameer-e-Millat
in taking awareness for education to areas which
lag behind in the field. The initiation of the school
in the area would be a beacon enlightening the minds
of generations to come.
Chawinda
is a rural area, 9 kilometers away from the Pak-India
border. It holds a historical importance and sings
of the brave men of the Pakistani Army.
